Benefits
Starting point
An automatic packaging unit with a high degree of autonomy is sought for an effective packaging process of plastic parts in tubes. Here, the packaging unit should take the produced plastic parts directly from the injection-molding handling unit and pack them inline.
Solution
In the realized solution, the system operator can place the empty tubes on the lower buffer belt, which intermediately buffers the tubes and transports them to a transfer point. At the transfer point, the front tube is separated and checked for the correct insertion position, and any incorrectly inserted tubes are automatically ejected. Correctly lying tubes are conveyed to the filling station with the transfer handling unit, at which the injected customer parts are pushed into the tube via an electric axis system. Once the tube is completely filled, this is moved to the upper buffer belt with the handling unit, which then intermediately buffers the tube and conveys it to the removal station.
Advantages for the customer
By means of the compact tube packaging system, the customer can automate a packaging process with high autonomy under tight spatial conditions. In addition, the packaging system can be moved with castors, which generates a huge advantage for the customer's flexibility.
