With the flexible feeding unit, various components can be fed correctly positioned to the subsequent process.
AnyFeeder
The bulk goods are fed to the AnyFeeder system via the vibration hopper, controlled by the filling volume.
Exchangeable cavity
The fed parts are transferred to the subsequent process using cavities. The cavities are designed as format parts and can be quickly exchanged by the worker.
Conversion
Interchangeable parts can be exchanged in just a few steps.

Up until now, the metal butt straps were provided using spiral conveyors and a gripper unit. In the event of a format change, the complete feeding unit had to be converted.
Solution
In order to handle the various future product types, a flexible system should be developed, which can be modularly docked to all available systems. The metal butt straps are conveyed by means of automated shaking on a conveyor platform, where the robot fetches the correctly aligned metal butt straps. The metal butt straps are suctioned with a vacuum suctioner and are deposited and swiveled in the swiveling unit. After swiveling, the metal butt strap is picked up again and fed to an intermediate magazine.
