Two cameras are used to align the plate at station 1 to the nearest hundredth so that the emblems can be punched out.
The camera at station 2 monitors the alignment of the plastic carrier.
The camera at station 3 determines the absolute angle and checks the emblem for printing errors.
The thermal imaging camera at station 4 checks whether there is enough adhesive for the emblem to adhere well.
Finally, the camera at station 5 checks the finished product for the defined quality requirements.
For this vision inspection, aerne engineering uses IPC-based image processing based on Cognex VisionPro to monitor quality assurance during production. Integrated cameras in the automation system monitor the production steps and ensure the desired quality.
