Nearly 200 guests, inspiring speakers, engaging discussions and valuable connections: the _ae OPEN DAY 2026 demonstrated the strong interest in the topics shaping our future. A look back at a day filled with fresh ideas, technology, personal exchanges and meaningful connections.

With THE FUTURE IS WILD, this year’s _ae OPEN DAY on 7 May 2026 was all about the future. Together with our customers, partners and other interested guests, we experienced a day that explored the latest developments in automation, robotics, digitalisation and industry from a variety of perspectives. Inspiring keynote speeches and practical insights on stage sparked new ideas, while the Market Place provided space for personal conversations and direct exchange.

We were particularly delighted by the strong response. With 197 attendees, we came close to reaching the 200-guest milestone. More important than the numbers, however, were the many encounters and conversations. The high level of engagement during the presentations, lively discussions during the breaks and numerous positive comments after the event showed that the _ae OPEN DAY struck a chord with its audience.

A particular highlight was the Co-CEO Board featuring Raphael Schärer, Swen Fürer and Roger Eberle. Their open discussion about co-leadership, leadership, trust and collaboration continued to spark conversations even after the official programme had ended, adding an important human dimension to the event. This unique blend of technology, practical insights and personal exchange is precisely what makes the _ae OPEN DAY special.
