Since the beginning of 2026, aerne engineering has been operating under a co-CEO model. With the newly introduced Co-CEO Board, the company is consolidating its operational management and responding to an increasingly complex project environment.
_ae is jointly managed by Raphael Schärer (Co-CEO Finance & Technology), Swen Fürer (Co-CEO Markets & Partnerships), and Roger Eberle (Co-CEO Organization & Excellence). The three share responsibility and decision-making authority in clearly defined areas. The aim is to achieve short decision-making processes, stringent prioritization, and even better management of projects, resources, and capacities.
The Co-CEO Board acts as the central operational management body and ensures close coordination between the market, projects, organization, and excellence. The Board of Directors remains the supreme governing body, while operational management is clearly anchored and regulated in the Co-CEO Board.
